The Ladies indoor squad took to the field against Genesis in Loughlinstown on Sunday 11th December.  Genesis caught Avoca on the backfoot and took a sharp 2-0 lead within the first few minutes.  Avoca were unlucky not to convert numerous chances, leaving them 4-0 down at half time.  The second half proved to be more fruitful for the girls, with guest player from Bray, Katie Burgess netting two within minutes of each other.  Genesis reacted by netting a further 2 and Avoca's Sandra Boyle finished off the game with a lovely first touch straight past the keeper.  Final score was 3-6 to Genesis.

The ladies begin their indoor league campain on Saturday 17th December in Shoreline, Greystones when they take on Division 1's Corinthians at 6.30pm.
